Popping up in Aston Tirrold

On Friday night we popped-up in the lovely picturesque village of Aston Tirrold, just outside Didcot. As always we packed up our restaurant into the back of the van and headed to the village hall. Some of the village halls that we visit are quite difficult to dress for the occasion and it takes us a while to eradicate the atmosphere of playgroups and pilates, but Aston Tirrold Village Hall is a little different, it has gorgeous wooden beams and a lovely little balcony, so it wasn’t hard to make it look like a rustic village restaurant.

“We knew it would be awesome but WOW! Everything was perfect! When can we come again?” – Becki

“Very nice food, good local wine and a relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recoomend The Wandering Kitchen to others.” – Jen

“Cosy and friendly atmosphere, not what I had orginally pictured when thinking of village halls. Delicious food and spot-on-service. Would definitely recommend.”
